Our first club field trip of 2025 was a visit to the Millennium Square and Docks area of Bristol.
Six of us made the trip (Peter & Jill Young, Nigel Goode, Graham Porritt, Bea von der Haar and Kevin Doyle) with the intention of doing some street photography. The docks are a vibrant area of Bristol boasting plenty of photographic opportunities. Conditions were chilly but pleasant with excellent light against the darker grey skies.
We spent an enjoyable morning exploring the area, its people, places and architecture before convening for lunch at one of the waterfront restaurants. After lunch we spent a final half-hour getting few more shots before heading for home and the inevitable Prince of Wales bridge traffic delays.
