Landscape photography is the art of capturing the world’s outdoor spaces, sometimes vast and unending and other times microscopic. Landscape photographs typically capture the presence of nature but can also focus on human-made features or disturbances of the land. This genre offers the opportunity and experience of capturing the great outdoors and its many wonders.
Notable photographers in this genre are Tim Parkin, Trey Ratcliffe and Verity Milligan. Check out our Black & White genre for photographers such Ansel Adams, Fay Godwin and Michael Kenna.
A whole raft of articles covering different aspects of landscape photography can be viewed on the photographylife website. Plenty of food for thought there!
