We had a very successful Bring and Buy Sale  with £179 being bid for items and over £40 being raised for  club funds

We have an exhibition of members work in Cwmbran Library from Saturday 3rd July  until the end of the month. Please make an effort to go along and view the prints! Please not we want volunteers to take the pictures down on Saturday 31st July.

The 21st  July was a members evening where people brought along slide shows and images to share with other members. We were unable to use our room but we had the Council Chamber and its projector which provided a good show

The 28th July is the half yearly meeting, a time where all members have an opportunity to bring forward ideas about how they want their club to work before the AGM in October and give other members to comment.

What competitions you want ?

Are you prepared to serve on the committee - There are a number of up-coming vacancies including , Programme Secretary This is essential to the functioning of  next years programme.

Any changes you would want to see in the way the club operates.

This meeting will be the last for a month since the club does not meet in August.

The website is kept up to date with the program and competition details for the coming year. Members are requested to read through the competition rules as there has been some minor changes.

Some members have been asking what is the optimum size and resolution for digital images. The answer to this is: No larger than 1400 pixels x 1050 pixels (landscape) If you are presenting portrait images the vertical dimension should not be more than 1050 pixels .
